My 34th bday...

I had a great Birthday this year. Thanks RLH for making it so special.....he took MK shopping for my gift, cards, cake etc. and took me to dinner at Capers and to see Proposal. We had a great weekend and the movie was one of our favs ...right up there with Dumb and Dumber and Meet the Parents....It's a must see ha! I had fun with my friend AMC lunch and pedis and had a great time with my cousin Misti on my first trip to downtown Hotlanta. We had lunch at the old Spaghetti Factory and shopping all the thrift stores Fun times!
The message was so moving....all about the Titles of Jesus and the most important one being LORD!!!!
Remember to make your Saviour, LORD over you LIFE.

First Haircut....trim that is!

Mia Katheryn had her first of many(sorry RLH) trips to the Beauty Shop! She needed a trim....she loved sitting up high, getting her hair washed and wearing the cape ;) She was a big girl as usual. We saved a curl for her memory box. Now for an afternoon of sunshine at the pool!

Summer is here....let the activities begin

well Summer is here and the weekends have been filled with lots of fun activities and they are full till Labor Day! After we went home to Miss the first of June...we haven't stopped. VBS was great! I taught Kindergarten ....it was a Great God Experience! MK loved VBS as well ....she got to make lots of neat crafts and learned so much more about her Friend Jesus.! She has memorized about 4 Bible verses since April.....she loves saying them for the grandparents :)
I love teaching my little miracle about Jesus....the best thing about having a child !!!! We've had some visitors ....the Cooley's and the Daniel's. We spend most of days going to the pool and playing in the backyard with the water gun:)
This past holiday weekend was just terrific with my sister and her family. We went to the pool, six flags and played games. The girls had a blast! I love watching MK play with her cousins and we had fun playing games at night after they were all tucked in! RLH , MK, and I went to Chattanooga yesterday. We went to Lookout Mtn. and Ruby Falls....MK really enjoyed them both she said" mommy me liked that cave"! We have always enjoyed going to new places, R and I that is, and now to have our girl with us.....makes it even more special. I am spending the day with my only girl cousin this Friday in Atlanta....very excited! and on Sat. Ritchie is taking me to dinner and a movie for my 34th bday! I cant wait...and the best thing is I get to pick the movie ha! I hope you all are enjoying these lazy days of summer like we are!
