hover over the link above and click ....hope it works
here are the words to a beautiful song by Third Day

Today I found myself,
After searching all these years,
And the man that I saw,
He wasn't at all who I'd thought He'd be,
I was lost when You found me here,
And I was broken beyond repair,
Then You came along and sang Your song over me
Chorus 1
It feels like I'm born again
It feels like I'm living
For the very first time
For the very first time,
In my life
Verse 2
Make a promise to me now,
Reassure my heart somehow,
That the love that I feel,
is so much more real than anything
I've a feeling in my soul,
And I pray that I'm not wrong,
That the life I have now,
It is only the beginning

Walk for Life....

Here are a couple of pictures from last Saturday. My friends and I helped raise about 10,500.00 by walking for 6-7 hours in honor of Babies. The proceeds went to the Bartow County Women's Resource Center...to help counsel ladies to say yes to life and no to abortion. Please help support your local Pro Life centers. I was so tired yet so pumped after this wonderful memorable day. Thank you GOD for the miracle of Life! One of my special friends has a handsome young son who is such a joy to be around all because of GOD and the BCWRC ! :) Praise GOD for CH!

think about this....

we have been exposed to more light than anyone else. How many times have you heard the Gospel in your life? How many testimonies have your heard? How many bible studies have you been through? How many bibles do you have in your home? How many of us living here on Earth today have not accepted Christ as our Savior and seen all this light ....those people still rejecting Jesus ....their judgement will be so much more severe than anyone else their Hell will be worse. Yes people will experience diff types of judgement diff types of Hell. This is so important that if you are still not allowing God in and in control of your life. Your judgement will be so severe....you have been exposed to soooo much light. Those of us who BELIEVE who are truly SAVED...will still be held accountable depending on our Faith what we did with what God gave us we will give an account NOT TO DETERMINE our Salvation but to determine our reward God chose us and we are accountable to HIM and the plan that HE has for our lives. We need to have Faith, love HIM with EVERYTHING, serve HIM with our ALL and love OTHERS and GO and TELL them ALL about HIS saving grace. We are living in a day of grace because HE loves us so and is sooooo merciful and so patient with us. He is giving everyone a chance to come to HIM. Take advantage of this Day of Grace! He is begging you to find Rest in HIM. whewwwww
I know this was a lot but wasn't it awesome this is just a summary of the messages I heard preached today by a Faithful Servant my Pastor today and tonight from Haggai 2 :20-23 and Matthew 11 .
My heart has truly been touched and gained more wisdom from God's word today and I am praying that I will get up and GO and tell many  and live for HIM Daily in order for my children , family, friends, strangers to see His light through me. I am so thankful for HIS GRACE and MERCY and LOVE.  I hope this touched your heart as it did mine.
In Him, KSH

I had a wonderful day....

I had the most wonderful Saturday! Thank you God! It was sunny and soared into the 60's....probably just a tease but I so enjoyed getting out in it. I went shopping at my new fav market Harry's (whole foods). I stocked up on veggies for Abigail's mush and and fruits for the family. I bought some yummy new garlic lover's hummus and natural sea salt chips. It Made a delicious side with my dinner tonight which was also yummy by the way smoked tuna salad prepared by my hubby( thanks to Ppop for catching in Mexico) .I walked outside for the first time since October....only did 3 miles but I felt great. I have been studying for SS tonight and sitting in total silence since 8 pm as the girls are asleep and hubby enjoying a nite out at the Northwest GA Christian Outdoor Expo. I hope he is having a great time! We all need a night out every now and then; I know I do!!!!
I was reading from Acts 8 tonight; the story of Phillip and the Ethiopian . What a great story  for sharing the gospel with. We will be teaching our 1st graders tom about the importance of the Bible and it teaching us how we can become saved, learning Acts 16:31 "believe on the LORD JESUS, and you will be saved" the significance of the letters A B and C ( which by the way is awesome for leading children to the LORD or even an adult, so simple) A admit you are a sinner Romans 3:23 " For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD. B believe in JESUS John 3:16 For God so loved the world He gave his only son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. C confess Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of Lord will be saved. AMEN AMEN and AMEN
I can't wait to share this with our class tomorrow.
MK was a little under the weather today with her allergies...so we prayed for healing and for us to be able to all attend church tomorrow.  I put her to bed tonight for the first time in over a week, that's usually Daddy's job; but I so needed that time tonight with her I just love reading God's word to her and of course her other pick of the night the Hungry Fox :) and singing her to sleep with hymns . Thank you God for that time and for a wonderful day!
Night Night,
KSH

"GOT MILK"

Hebrews 5:11-13 (New Living Translation)

Call to Spiritual Growth

11 There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. 12 You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word.[a] You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. 13 For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right.

M Henry "In the closing verses of our chapter the writer gently yet firmly upbraids his Hebrew readers because they were still but babes as to their understandings when they ought to have been like full-grown men. If we make spiritual growth our spiritual senses are exercised, we acquire spiritual habits, and we become able to assimilate the "strong meat," or, "solid food," of the truth in its wider and deeper aspects. If we do not grow, though we may have received "the word of righteousness" yet we become unskilled in it. We may even slip so far back that we need to be taught over again the simplest elements concerning foundation truth."

I just wanted to share some scripture and something I read from one of my fave books The Saving Life of Christ ....I went to a Ladies Retreat over 10 years ago and the theme was "Got Milk" I did and that's all then but I can no longer live on just that and I Praise GOD for the past years, experiences, people all apart of GOD's plan that have brought me to this point of needed something more substantial and being able to serve MY GOD with an attitude of dependence "FAITH" I can't serve HIM in anyway or matter without it or it would be in vain "SIN"...."whatsoever is not of faith is sin" Rom 14:23

My prayer would be my children to crave much more than "spiritual milk" earlier than I did

scripture is the best Parenting guide....

Ok everyone out there who is a parent or anyone who desires to have children this is a must read! God's word is full of direction especially when it comes to Parenting and Tedd Tripp did a wonderful job of putting together some scriptures and ways to train your child, how to discipline...all with a diff teaching method from most parenting books--start with the heart-- inside a wonderful book "Shepherding a Child's Heart". It teaches you how to train them to be submissive to us as parents "God's agents" in order to lead them to JESUS. I LOVE THIS BOOK!

I am back

well its only been 14 months ha ha but I finally made it back to the bloggin world. We had an adventurous and wonderful 2010. We found out we were going to be parents again right around Christmas of 2009 and it was really crazy after that; I was on bedrest most of the 7 months I carried our new little baby girl who was born on June 27 2010. ABH came 6 weeks early, she weighed 4lbs 13oz; 17 3/4" long and very healthy. However, she did have to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks but with GOD's care and sustaining peace we all made it through the ride. PRAISE GOD! FOR His peace and provisions during 2010. ABH is now 2 days shy of turning 7 months and weighed in at 15 lbs 3 weeks ago :) she is healthy and one of the happiest babies ever:) I love being a mommy to her and big sis, which by the way MKH has been the best and most patient, loving, caring, and entertaining big sis on the block ;). Thanks be to GOD for allowing me to have the best job in the world. I hope this sorta gets up to date. I hope you enjoy sharing in my journey of a stay at home mom and devoted wife to RLH as we all try daily to GLORIFY our LORD JESUS. Have a great January, what's left of it anyway.

Jonah....a story of a prophet worth reading daily

"Jonah was a prophet....woo hoo ....never really got.... woo hoo" this is a cute catchy line from a song from the Movie Jonah. It is one of MK's favorites :). Just wanted to encourage everyone today to read through first 4 chapters of Jonah...to remind us that God wants us to obey. I hope you have a great Tuesday and stay dry.
