what an AWESOME day hiking through GOD'S country today. We hiked the Allatoona Pass in Bartow Cty, GA. It was full of beauty and history. The pics on the slide show really explain the history. The bloodiest battle in the 1860's during the Civil War took place on this pass. We hiked about 3.5 miles and boy did we have an adventure. A new friend of mine KP introduced me to "letter boxing". It 's like going on a scavenger hunt! We had soooo much fun! We found 3 boxes....if you ask me I am a better map reader than rlh; but if you ask him he will beg to differ; so just ask MK who found the most....HA! MK now has 3 stamps:)
I am going to post a website for those who would love to do this awesome little "FREE" activity with your family.
I loved the adventure and all the precious time spent with my hubby and girl today!

oh I almost forgot we went on a trip last week as most of you know to St Marys GA and Cumberland Island to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary that is coming up in August.....we had the best time! I will post some pics of it too. Please be in prayer for my awesome friends The paces as they spread the Gospel down in Nicaragua this week.

I didn't know your beach trip was to St Mary's!! That's the area we're from. No wonder you loved it!
We will be trying the Allatoona Pass soon! We love this kind of stuff. Now back to look at the slide show...my heart just leapt when I saw you guys vacationed at "our home"! Haha!
